Power Distribution.

Agile, safe and efficient

Metered-by-Outlet Rack PDU
Metered-by-Outlet Rack PDUMetered-by-outlet Rack PDUs provide real-time remote monitoring of each individual outlet to empower IT professionals with the necessary tools for advanced datacentre energy management.

APC Metered-by-outlet Rack Power Distribution Units (PDUs) provide active metering of individual outlets to enable energy optimisation and detailed capacity planning. User-defined alarm thresholds mitigate risk with real-time local and remote alerts to warn of potential circuit overloads. Metered-by-outlet rack PDUs provide a more granular level of power utilisation data to allow datacentre Managers to make more precise decisions on load balancing and right sizing IT environments to lower total cost of ownership. Metered-by-outlet Rack PDUs include individual outlet power metering, a temperature/humidity sensor port, and locking IEC receptacles. Users can access and configure Metered-by-outlet rack PDUs through secure Web, SNMP, or Telnet Interfaces and are complimented by APC Centralized Management platforms using InfraStruxure Central, Capacity Manager and Change Manager

Metered Rack PDU
Metered Rack PDUMetered rack PDUs provide real-time remote monitoring of connected loads. User-defined alarms warn of potential circuit overloads before critical IT failures occur. Keeping your eye open for unplanned overloads.

New AP8000 series Metered Rack PDUs include real power monitoring, a temperature/humidity sensor port, locking IEC receptacles, and ultra low profile circuit breakers.

Switched Rack PDU
Switched Rack PDUSwitched Rack PDUs provide advanced load monitoring combined with remote on/off switching control of individual outlets for power cycling, delayed power sequencing, and outlet use management. Giving you the control of your rack IT equipment.

APC Switched Rack Power Distribution Units (PDUs) enable advanced, user-customizable power control and active monitoring. Remote outlet level controls allow power on/off functionality for power cycling to remotely reboot equipment and restrict unauthorised use of individual outlets. Power sequencing time delays allow users to define the order in which to power up or down attached equipment to avoid circuit overload. Current metering provides real-time remote monitoring of connected loads with user-defined alarms to warn of potential circuit overloads. Users can access, configure, and control Switched Rack PDUs through secure Web, SNMP, Command Line Interface, or Telnet Interfaces which are complimented by APC Centralized Management platforms using InfraStruxure Central, Operations, Capacity, and Energy Efficiency. New AP8000 series Switched Rack PDUs include real power monitoring, a temperature/humidity sensor port, and locking IEC receptacles.

Basic Rack PDU
Basic Rack PDUReliable power distribution. Best value for simple power distribution

APC Basic Rack PDUs provide reliable power distribution via a single input with multiple output receptacles and distributes power from low amperage single phase circuits to higher-power 3-phase solutions.

Modular Power Distribution
Modular Power DistributionAgile, Safe, Efficient Power distribution for IT equipment in any size datacentre or high density zone. Scalable and efficient 3-phase power distribution.

Modular Power Distribution mitigates the need to predict the future requirements and configurations of your datacentre. This visionary power distribution system is agile enough to match the needs of your datacentre today and enable rapid expansion or reconfiguration in the future. Power management is simplified by output metering, branch current/circuit monitoring and auto-detection by the StruxureWare suite of management options. When demand rises and expansion becomes necessary, simply plug in new Power Distribution Modules. The factory-assembled modules, which include circuit breaker, power cord, and power connection, can be installed in mere minutes. There are multiple power ratings and power cord lengths for low to high power, guaranteeing compatibility and quick, easy, and convenient installation.

Configurable Power Distribution
Configurable Power DistributionConfigured to order, factory assembled power distribution for IT equipment in any size datacentre or high density zone. The easy-to-deploy PDU for datacentres with custom requirements

The APC Configurable Power Distribution Units bring agility, availability, and speed of deployment to your datacentre. Our factory-tested power distribution solutions are built to your exact specifications, support overhead or underfloor distribution, and feature a convenient, portable rack form factor.

  • Install factory assembled and tested power distribution solutions fast and faultlessly.
  • Control cable clutter with cut-to-size cord sets for your site-specific, custom-designed breakers and connectors.
  • Reduce operating costs with NEMA-rated TP1 transformers – the most efficient in the industry.
  • Perform maintenance and service from the front or rear – no side access required.
  • Monitor and manage power usage locally at the PowerView display interface or remotely using a Web browser, StruxureWare datacentre Expert, or your building management system.

MGE Static Transfer Switches
MGE Static Transfer SwitchesTrue redundancy and exceptional high reliability for switching between power source. Critical power distribution without compromise

MGE static transfer switches (STS) supply power to a range of equipment from two independent and redundant sources. Static Transfer Switches automatically transfer power to a stable alternate source in less than 4ms under normal operating conditions. Even under extreme conditions, such as 180 degrees out of phase, the STS will have detection and transfer times that are up to 10 times faster than many other switches.
